NELTEX Shares How it Responds to Industry’s Challenge of Globalization at the NAMPAP Midyear Conference

With the construction industry on a boom, technology ever advancing, and the world’s connectivity today, it is easy to say that we are facing Globalization. The question is: how ready are we to face the challenges it brings with it? This was the subject of the recently concluded Luzon Conference of the National Master Plumbing Association of the Philippines, Inc. (NAMPAP) held at the Starview Plaza Hotel, Elias St., Naga City from April 15 to 16, 2016.
As the country’s leading PVC Manufacturer and longtime supporter of NAMPAP, NELTEX was invited to participate in the event that was attended not only by Master plumbers from all over the country but also local government representatives from Naga City and other neighboring cities and municipalities.
Stressing that the key to facing the challenge of globalization is the collaborative efforts of Manufacturers like NELTEX, government, and non-government organizations to elevate the quality of industry works and projects, Ms. Jenny Mae Recla from Neltex’s Marketing Group detailed NELTEX’s role in promoting innovations within the industry.
“NELTEX, with its commitment to continuous innovation and sustainable construction, has always make it possible for the country to be globally competitive by (1) building a production plant with machines and procedures that are at par with European manufacturers, (2) ensuring that the quality of the PVC products we produce passes and even surpasses both local and international standards, and (3) working closely with the government, industry experts, and organizations in establishing industry standards that will elevate the industry as a whole” Ms. Recla noted in her presentation.
Thorough review of existing policies and standards and possible improvements on the plumbing code were also discussed in the two-day conference.
