NELTEX Celebrates National Hardware Day with over 2.4 Million Peso worth of Bingo and Raffle Prizes

May 1 may be known to most as “Labor Day,” but for the attendees of the recently concluded NELTEX 19th MegaSummer Bingo Bonanza, May 1, 2016 will be fondly remembered as the National Hardware Day where over 2.4 Million worth of prizes were given away by the country’s leading PVC pipe manufacturer—Neltex.
Cash prizes and raffle items were won, sumptuous lunch and snacks were served, concert-like entertainment was enjoyed, and the spirit of family was ever-present in the whole day celebration held at the World Trade Center.
“We actually felt that it was fitting to celebrate National Hardware Day on Labor Day this year because in a way, it really is a celebration by and for all the hard working staff of every hardware that we work with. It’s our way of rewarding them for their support” says Ms. Angela Dela Vega, Neltex Brand Marketing Assistant and Overall Bingo Event Head.
Indeed, the event was well attended not only by hardware owners and managers, but even back office personnel, warehousemen, and delivery personnel—all joined by their respective families. For 19 years now, Neltex has been holding a grand Bingo event every summer and is joined by its trade partners. For this year’s celebration though, Neltex took the party a notch higher by giving away cash prizes—P200,000.00 for the “N Pattern” winner, P500,000 for the “L Pattern” winner, P750,000 for the “X Pattern winner” and a whooping P1,000,000 for the blackout winner.
Hundreds of appliances were also raffled away by hosts DJ Raqi Terra and DJ Lyka Barista to ensure that no one goes home empty handed. In between each Bingo game, surprise guests entertainers came to liven up the occasion
The crowd was first treated to an upbeat and colorful performance by Jenifer Catayong, the Nicki Minaj look-alike from Showtime’s Kalokalike Face 2, followed by comedic stint of Daniel Aliermo, whose ala- Vice Ganda performance got everyone laughing hard.
The main production though came in the form of a concert-like performance by famous local band, Itchyworms who belted hit songs like “Gusto ko Lamang Sa Buhay”, “Penge Naman Ako Nyan”, “Ayokong Tumanda” and “Beer” had the whole World Trade Center singing along.
As one of the attendees note, Neltex’s 19th MegaSummer Bingo Bonanza will definitely come down to Neltex history as “one of the most unforgettable Bingo events so far.
